Truly Cool Ad Photography

Hi All,

I'm posting a short but sweet ad from Pedigree Dog Food where they use 1000 FPS (Frames Per Second). I learned about this post from one of my twitter friends @maddisondesigns. Although I don't post videos much, I loved this one too much to pass up. Happy Hump Day!

I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks for stopping in.

  1. Amazing! I assume they shot the dogs at 1000 FPS & then slowed it down 25 or 30 FPS (the standards for most video) to create the result here.

  2. @Pat I think it's just the speed of the video player but that's a guess from me at best.

@Nikita Thank you. I've never seen anything like it either.

  3. Wow, that is incredible footage! I love watching these kinds of videos, although I've only ever seen them used in sport before.

I particularly love the part where the dogs are jumping in the air and biting the snacks... You really get a sense of how they their bodies work! I was also amazed at how much shock the legs of the dog at the end can take as it lands. :)

  4. It is fascinating, isn't it? Something like this would be a great way to study the movements of dogs for animation. The makers did a great job! Thanks so much for your comments Sam. :)
