Last year, I started this blog as part of my class assignment in school. After I finished the class last May, I enjoyed blogging about dogs so much, I decided to keep this blog. Today marks the first anniversary of Too Kool Doggies. If it wasn't for Blogger, this blog wouldn't be here. I've heard so much about Wordpress, but so far, Blogger has worked well for me.
Since we've begun:
- I've written 197 blog posts, 4 of them being podcasts.
- We've increased feed subscribers by almost 600%.
- Too Kool Doggies has been viewed in 76 countries.
- Dog Fonts has had the most views in one year.
- The site had the most visits on July 6th when I wrote my interview with Aimée Hoover, a famous dog portrait painter.
Looking Ahead
During this next year, I will be bringing more fabulous articles, interviews, podcasts and more adventures with Cookie and Gigi for all of you guys. I will be having special giveaways. I will be changing the design to give this blog a new look.Let's Celebrate!
To celebrate the first successful year, we will be doing some product giveaways. Woof Hoofs is giving away a free pair of dog boots to a lucky reader! These sell for $24.99 retail. Even though winter has come and gone, these boots are great to use for hiking. The contest is limited to those who live in the United States. How to Win A Set For Your Pooch!

Congratulations to you on your first year! I look forward to reading many more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wishes Pat. It's much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted a dog yet my lifestyle was quite busy. So years ago I decided that I would get a dog when I bought a house. That came Last year. So I went off in search of companion dog that would be my walking partner.
ReplyDeleteI reseached dogs and tried to figure which one to buy. Till one day I had a conversation with the parent of one of my students, who was a breeder. No she didn't sell me a dog. But she told me that I sould get a dog that needed a home since I just wanted a companion.
I found myself at the dog shelter the nxt day. It was love at first sight. I adobpted a shy brindle boxer mix and named him Tigger. He was 4 months and 39lbs. And i was gouing to start walking ASAP.
Well, I've had him for a year now. Tigger is 85 pounds and loves his walk. Since he is not so small, I've gotten into rollerblading and biking with him. We go Hiking now, to the lake and beach for swimming and so on.
Yet he has been getting bruises and scrape on his paws as we get more and more active. I need a studry set of boots that won't fall apert or and can be wet. I think woof hoofs would be great. They seem very sturdy and I know the neoprene material is great with water!.. I believe Woof Hoofs would keep both of us actiove.... Which means Happy...

My dog Bristol is a total diva. I'm not sure how that happened as I am completely the opposite. I bought her a sweater this winter so she'd stay warm on our winter hikes, and she refused to let me take it off when we got home. When it rains, she will on stand on three paws because she hates wet grass.
ReplyDeleteDiva though she is, she still loves the hike. We head out just about every weekend if not more into the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. This summer we plan on taking some extended treks through some of the Appalachian Trail and Blue Ridge Parkway areas. She would just love to be the cutest and most stylish girl on the trail with some new boots. I can just see her swishing her tail with pride!

And the winner is...drumroll please....Jaymily Solano and Tigger! We think that Tigger's "tail" (pun intended) of getting scrapes and bruises on the trail best describes why we do what we do: protect dogs from injury so they can have a blast with their human companions.
ReplyDeleteSo Jaymily, please email us at info@woofhoofs.com and we will email you the promo code to redeem your prize.
Amanda, we want Bristol to be able to "strut her stuff" on the trail too, so as runner-up we are offering you a 20% discount on a set of Woof Hoofs. Please email us at info@woofhoofs.com for your 20% off promo code.
Congratulations to the winners and thanks for participating. We hope you will post pics of your dogs wearing their Woof Hoofs so we can show them off.
Also be sure to become fans of Woof Hoofs on our facebook page www.facebook.com/woofhoofs to keep up to date on the latest Woof Hoofs news and special offers for our valued customers!
